We collect your full name, phone number, CNIC, home address (precinct and house number), email, and WhatsApp number. Your WhatsApp number is shared with other users as part of ride coordination.
Your data is used solely to operate the Carpool by CHBTK community carpool service, verify your identity, facilitate ride coordination, and ensure platform safety.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL). CNIC data is stored with additional security measures. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your name and WhatsApp number are visible to other users for ride coordination purposes. Your CNIC and home address are only accessible to Carpool by CHBTK administrators for verification.
Ride posts are automatically deleted after 7 days. Account data is retained until you request deletion. Audit logs are retained for 90 days.

We implement industry-standard security measures including Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, encrypted storage, and secure authentication via Supabase.
Our AI assistant (Zozo) is powered by Groq (LLaMA model). Queries sent to Zozo are processed by Groq's servers and are subject to Groq's privacy policy. We do not permanently store Zozo conversations.
We use browser local storage for theme preferences, locale settings, and session state. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
