CHBTK Carpool is a community based ride sharing platform. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected.

1. Information Collected

We may collect your name, mobile number, email address, CNIC, vehicle information, ride history, approximate location during ride matching, and device information.

2. Purpose

Information is used to match riders and ride hosts, improve safety, prevent fraud, verify identities, and improve App performance.

3. Data Sharing

CHBTK does not sell personal information. Information may only be shared with matched riders/ride hosts, when legally required, or to investigate misuse.

4. Data Security

Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are implemented to protect user information, including Row Level Security on all database tables and encrypted storage via Supabase.

5. Data Retention

Ride posts expire and are automatically deleted to keep the platform lean. Account data is retained until you request deletion.

6. User Rights

Users may request correction of information, deletion of their account, or access to their personal information, subject to legal obligations. Contact CHBTK administration through the platform's reporting system.

7. AI Assistant

Our search assistant ("Zozo") is used for ride discovery guidance only. Do not share sensitive personal information with it. Conversations are not stored permanently.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage for theme preferences, locale settings, and session state. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

9. Policy Updates
