CHBTK Carpool is a community based ride sharing platform designed solely to connect individuals who wish to share rides and commuting costs. The App is NOT a taxi service, a transport company, a ride hailing platform, or a commercial passenger transport service. CHBTK only provides technology that enables users to connect.
By registering or using the CHBTK Carpool App ("App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
CHBTK Carpool is a community based ride sharing platform designed solely to connect individuals who wish to share rides and commuting costs. It is built and operated by CHBTK purely as a free service to the Bahria Town Karachi community, entirely at CHBTK’s own expense. The App generates no revenue of any kind. CHBTK only provides technology that enables users to connect; it is not a taxi service, transport company, ride hailing platform, or commercial passenger transport service.
Users must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, use their own CNIC and mobile number, and comply with Pakistani laws.
Ride hosts agree that they hold a valid driving licence, operate a legally registered vehicle, maintain valid vehicle documents where required, follow all traffic laws, and charge only reasonable cost sharing amounts. Commercial transport using the platform is strictly prohibited.
Riders agree to respect drivers / ride hosts, be punctual, avoid misconduct, and pay agreed cost sharing promptly.
Users shall not operate commercial transport, provide false identity, harass others, carry illegal goods, engage in criminal activity, share offensive content, or misuse the App. Violation may result in immediate suspension.
CHBTK may suspend or permanently remove any account that violates these Terms.
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
All cost-sharing payments are made directly between riders and ride hosts. CHBTK does not process, hold, or facilitate any payments and is not responsible for payment disputes between users.
All accounts require manual review by CHBTK administrators before being marked "Verified," and Verified accounts have their name and phone number permanently locked. This review is a basic, good-faith check of the CNIC image and address details submitted at registration. It confirms only that the documents appear genuine and consistent, based on CHBTK staff’s own judgement. CHBTK has no access to NADRA, any other government database, or Bahria Town Karachi’s own records, and cannot and does not confirm any user’s real identity, CNIC, or address with any authority. A "Verified" badge is therefore not proof of identity and is not an endorsement of the user; an "Unverified" badge means only that this review has not yet been completed. CHBTK bears no responsibility whatsoever for the accuracy of any user’s identity, whether their account is Verified or Unverified, and reserves the right to revoke verification at any time. It remains entirely the user’s own responsibility to exercise reasonable caution and judgement before sharing a ride, and while interacting with any driver or rider, verified or not.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Karachi, Pakistan.
CHBTK Carpool includes a smart search assistant ("Zozo"). Conversations with Zozo are not stored permanently. Do not share sensitive personal information with the assistant; its responses are for guidance only and do not constitute advice.
CHBTK Carpool is only a technology platform. CHBTK does not own, operate, control, inspect, or manage vehicles, and does not employ drivers. CHBTK does not guarantee driver conduct, rider conduct, vehicle condition, ride availability, arrival times, or the safety of any journey.
All rides are private arrangements made voluntarily between users. Users assume full responsibility for every ride.
CHBTK Carpool, CHBTK, Quantwist (the platform's developer), and their respective founders, operators, administrators, moderators, volunteers, employees, partners, and affiliates are NOT liable for: accidents, injury, death, theft, loss of property, financial loss, delays, personal disputes, criminal acts committed by users, or any other harm or mishap of any kind arising from use of the App. This applies equally regardless of whether a user's account is marked Verified or Unverified. As explained in Section 10, verification is a basic internal check only, is not confirmed with NADRA or any government authority, and creates no liability for CHBTK either way. Users should exercise reasonable judgment before sharing rides, and in emergencies should immediately contact the appropriate emergency services. CHBTK and Quantwist bear no responsibility whatsoever for any mishap of any kind arising from use of the App. YOUR USE OF THIS PLATFORM IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Every member contributes to maintaining a respectful, trustworthy, and secure environment by acting honestly, following the law, and treating fellow users with courtesy. By accepting this document during signup, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted it.
